A Dynamic Program in Which Science and Technology are Combined to Give Students First-Hand Experience in Laboratories With Scientists at Work
The program is known as Science Destinations and is the brainchild of Richard Boolootian, a former UCLA professor and entrepreneur.

| Designed for 9-14 year-olds who excel academically, Science Destinations
offers them the opportunity to meet leading researchers in a multitude
of scientific disciplines. Past trips have taken them to the Galapagos Islands, Midway, Hawaii,
Florida, Alaska and to cutting edge laboratories such as Los Alamos
National Laboratory, the Goldstone Asteroid Tracking Station and the
Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. |
