Evening Programs and Recreation
A number of evenings are spent attending special seminars organized by various departments within a university. Our group has attended specialized seminars at Stanford University, University of new Mexico, Scripps Medical Institute, US Fish and Wild Service, United States Air Force Flight Testing Facility, Edwards Air force base, Point Mugu Naval Air Station, California Institute of Technology, University of Hawaii and the Keck Mauna Kea Observatory to name a few. In some instances, scientists have come to the lodging facility and presented their talks.

In addition, generally after dinner, we participate in a wide range of
recreational activities, including swimming, basketball, arts &
crafts, drawing, movies, visit old towns, libraries and at times attend
4th of July fireworks. We have had a number of occasions where we
celebrate birthdays with special activities for the birthday child.
